Treatment methods for pollution sources in coating lines
Painting lines are widely used in various fields such as automobiles, home appliances and furniture. Do you know how many pollutants are involved in the coating process? Waste gas, waste water, waste residue and noise, they are not good stuff, if not properly dealt with and directly discharged, the environment and human health is a serious blow! Therefore, the treatment of pollution sources in the coating production line can be really important.
Exhaust gas treatment
The exhaust gas of the coating production line is generated in the processes of pretreatment, paint spraying room, leveling room and drying oven. The exhaust gas from production contains organic solvent vapor, volatile components of paint, thermal decomposition products and reaction products and other harmful substances, direct emissions will cause pollution of the air environment. For the exhaust gas pollution in general will be used in two ways: source control and end of treatment.
•Source control:
use paints that do not contain organic solvents or have low organic solvent content, optimize paint formulations to reduce the use of organic solvents from the source to achieve the purpose of reducing emissions.
•End control:
the appropriate treatment process according to the different concentrations and compositions of the exhaust gas. For high concentration, small exhaust air volume of exhaust gas combustion, catalytic combustion or adsorption method for treatment; for low concentration, large air volume of exhaust gas using activated carbon adsorption method, activated carbon fiber bee wheel method for treatment. Installation of photocatalytic oxidation purification device This type of waste gas treatment equipment can effectively adsorb and decompose volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and particulate matter in the waste gas.
Wastewater treatment
Wastewater of coating production line mainly comes from degreasing, phosphatization and passivation wastewater produced by pretreatment, electrophoretic coating wastewater, water-based coating spray room and cleaning wastewater. Wastewater contains a large number of oil and grease, acidic substances, organic matter and metal ions and other pollutants cause pollution to the water environment. For wastewater pollution is generally divided into comprehensive sewage and categorized treatment of sewage in two ways.
•Comprehensive wastewater treatment:
Choose comprehensive wastewater treatment equipment, through the acid and alkali neutralization, floating oil absorption, dissolved gas tower treatment, emulsion and other steps to remove oil and grease in wastewater, acidic substances and organic matter. The treated wastewater will be discharged or recycled after reaching the discharge standard stipulated by environmental protection.
•Classification treatment:
Waste residue treatment
Waste residue pollution mainly comes from the sediments produced in the process of waste water treatment, these waste residues contain a large number of organic matter, metal ions and particles, posing a potential threat to the soil and groundwater environment. For slag pollution, the following treatment methods can be taken:
•Dewatering treatment:
Use equipment such as plate and frame filter press to dewater the waste slag and reduce the volume and water content of the waste slag.
•Safe disposal:
Transport the dewatered waste residue to a special waste residue storage site for safe disposal to prevent harm to the environment and human health.
Noise control
Noise pollution is another issue of concern in the coating production line. Noise mainly comes from centrifugal fans and transportation devices. For noise pollution, the following control measures can be taken:
•Select centrifugal fans and conveyordevices that comply with noise regulations to reduce noise generation.
•Set up sound insulation materials inside the painting workshop to reduce the spread and diffusion of noise.
